All intruder alarm systems will be designed and specified to comply with the installation standard, European Standard PD6662 EN50131.1.
When an intruder alarm system with notification requires a policed response the alarm design must comply with DD243:2004 where the requirement of the Association of Chief Police Officers directives are outlined for the alarm operation and confirmation.
